Program Details

Marin County Program Details Year of Experience Corps project launch: 2007

Students served: 600

Grades/ages of students served: K-5 grade

Experience Corps participants: 50

Participant hours logged last school year: 4500

Neighborhoods served: San Rafael's Dominican, Black Canyon, Canal, Loch Lomond, and Santa Venetia Neighborhoods

Schools/Centers served: San Pedro Elementary School, Venetia Valley Elementary School, Coleman Elementary School, Bahia Vista Elementary School

Requirements for volunteers: Application, interview, background check (fingerprinting), TB test, eight hours of pre-service training, monthly team meeting.
