Program Details

Experience Corps participants: 46

Tempe Elementary District - Aguilar, Arredondo, Holdeman, Meyer, Scales, Thew
Kyrene Elementary District - Kyrene de los Ninos

Requirements for volunteers: Age 50+, high school diploma, sincere interest in children, ability to relate well to children and school staff, easily take direction, accept cultural differences. Background check required, including a fingerprint clearance. Members will attend pre-service training, school site orientation, on-going team meetings, and are expected to attend additional training during the school year. Members can serve a minimum of four hours a week up to 12+ hours.
